SO LOOKING FORWARD.....!!!!

Hi friends,

Calvary Monterey very kindly celebrated my 50th anniversary of Pastoral Ministry on Sunday December 11th. It is amazing to look back on starting three churches, pastoring a fourth for 12 years, several years in itinerant ministry with my mentor before joining the staff of Calvary Ft. Lauderdale for 7 years, and now 14 years at Calvary Monterey. It is amazing to think of 50 years.

HOWEVER, I am a man who loves the windshield (looking ahead) rather than the rear view mirror (looking back). My plan is to retire from my local church staff position later this year and transition to my next stage of just “Pastoring Pastors” under the banner of Strengthening the Churches! Denise and I will be able to spend more time with our four daughters and their families around the country, at long last: California, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. PLUS supporting the group of pastors we know around the country in any way we can. Details as we figure them out!! Just wanted to let you know! Geoff
