Maundy Thursday

Jesus said in Luke 22:15, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer.” SUFFER. That is His word to describe what will happen to Him in the next 15 hours. The word “suffer” here means “to be affected, to feel, to experience with the senses.” So Jesus would see, hear, feel, smell and taste a perfectly dreadful experience on three levels: body, soul, and spirit.
